"For depression cocktails, aluminum and wood shaker and tray, $6. Russel Wright. White-striped glasses, $15 a dozen. Four dozen paper napkins, under $1."
"This big bertha cocktail shaker is Russel Wright's little contribution to the cocktail hour. The top is shellacked cork and non-leakable. $3.70. The chromium ashtrays have a "fried egg" formation in the center, a convenient hummock for putting out the cigarette. Large size, $1, small ones, $.50. Russel Wright Studio, 165 East 35th street."

"Here's another Russel Wright design, which he did for Chase Brass and Copper company, 200 Fifth Avenue – a double decker chromium cocktail and canapé tray, with room for a dozen cocktail cups. The napkins can be stuck in small rings on the top tray in merry-go-round formation. It can be taken apart for storing. $10."

Parade of New Metals 1934 Color
From House and Garden, April,1934. Lurelle Guild is credited here for the Chase ice bucket with tongs and Russel Wright is credited with the Chase canape tray, corn set and cordial set. The top row, which was edited out, featured more of Guild's designs for International Silver.

Spun Aluminum Color

"Cook and serve in the aluminum casserole itself. Or, bake in its liner bowl of oven-proof pottery. For a third serving dish use lid upside down." An early demonstration of Russel Wright's penchant for multiple uses.
